Award Recognition for Dhanaraj Turunawarasu

Celebrating Excellence in Research: Award Recognition for Dhanaraj Turunawarasu

We are proud to share that our colleague, Dhanaraj Turunawarasu, presented his research at the Inaugural Industry-University-Community Summit x 5th Swinburne Sarawak Postgraduate Research Conference 2025 and received the Best Poster (Bronze Award).

His presentation, “Equations of State (EoS) Modelling Framework for Full-Chain Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) Systems,” showcased groundbreaking work in developing a unified approach to EoS model selection for CCS applications.

This contribution addresses key gaps in modeling impure CO₂ mixtures — especially in cryogenic and oxy-fuel combustion regimes where experimental data remain limited. The proposed framework offers practical guidance for engineers and researchers working on CCS systems that require high-fidelity thermodynamic predictions.

Congratulations to Dhanaraj on this well-deserved recognition!
