Global industry leaders launch CCUS Hub Study to accelerate decarbonisation in Asia

We’re thrilled to announce that Pace CCS has joined a groundbreaking, industry-led coalition—led by BHP alongside major industry and energy players like ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, JSW Steel, Hyundai Steel, Chevron, and Mitsui—to launch the first independent CCUS Hub Study in Asia. This one-year pre‑feasibility study aims to chart the technical and commercial pathways for deploying large‑scale carbon capture, utilization, and storage hubs across the region, leveraging shared infrastructure to reduce costs and accelerate decarbonization in hard‑to‑abate sectors. We at Pace CCS are delighted to contribute our expertise and excited about the opportunity to help shape Asia’s decarbonization future.
