Pace CCS Software Powers KNCC’s LCO₂-EP Development

Pace CCS are proud to have supported KNCC with the development of their LCO₂-EP specification, utilising the power of our Corrosion Software.

The new specification will allow greater flexibility in impurity levels, allowing CO₂ compositions down to 98.9%, paving the way for more adaptable and cost-efficient EP CCS value chains. Rather than serving as a rigid standard, the LCO₂-EP specification is designed as a goal-based guideline—a shared framework to help the industry align on CO₂ stream treatment expectations.

This relaxation opens doors to CAPEX and OPEX reductions, while enabling tailored compatibility assessments for EP systems by KNCC using Pace CCS’s Corrosion Software.
