Pace CCS Continues to support Japan with its decarbonisation goal

We’re proud to support  the Metropolitan CCS JV on the exciting Metropolitan CCS Project—a major milestone in Japan’s decarbonisation journey.

The project will capture CO₂ from Nippon Steel’s East Nippon Works Kimitsu Area and surrounding industries in the Keiyo coastal region, transporting it via large-capacity pipelines for safe offshore storage beneath the seabed near Chiba Prefecture.

“This collaboration reinforces Pace CCS’s role in delivering world-class CCS solutions across the globe. We’re honoured to contribute to this leading and high-impact initiative.”
Mark Ames – Business Development Director
